Los Angeles trio Paul Klein, Jake Goss and Les Priest have done it again with another shimmery, synth-pop single going by the name of ‘Super Far’, which features on their forthcoming debut album. It’s appeal lies in its relatability; here we have a guy (portrayed by Klein’s enticing vocal) who is knowingly in an unbalanced relationship, but can’t seem to pull himself away. An unrequited love story of sorts that comes to life through the summery, hook-filled audio. It’s full of bouncing rhythms, kick drums, a touch of ‘80s-style synthwork, some slightly left-field electronics, and of course, a gorgeous pop melody crafted for the earnest lyrics that will have you signing along in no time. ‘Super Far’ is signature LANY in every way. - HT
